Meeting with LEDS Steering Committee and Representatives

Low Emission Development Document is the national strategy of Georgia regarding measures which should be done against the global threat – climate change, for a period of 2017-2030 years.

The development strategy combines different fields of economics and it has package of events for each field which will facilitate rational use of energy resources and enhance environmental effects in Georgia.

The document was prepared with the support of USAID and Representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Finances, Economy and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Education and Science were involved too, also National Statistics Office of Georgia, NGOs, Technical experts and other stakeholders.

Project team representatives from Rec Caucasus were attending the meeting and were involved in processes to make contribution for Low Emission Development Strategy in Georgia.
