A Green Economy can be thought of as an alternative vision for growth and development; one that can generate growth and improvements in people’s lives in ways consistent with sustainable development. A Green Economy promotes a triple bottom line: sustaining and advancing economic, environmental and social well-being. In this regard REC Caucasus is taking serious steps towards the advancement of Green Economy. The organization has developed strategy for efficient use of energy and materials and reducing risks to health and safety. Cleaner Production – is the continuous application of an integrated, preventive environmental strategy to processes and products to reduce risks to humans and the environment. In practice the CP can be defined as preventive process addressed to implementation of methodology to improve process efficiency and increase overall yield of final products. It is a “win-win” approach when entrepreneur running business gets benefit out of the reduction of operation costs, minimization of expenses related with environmental payments and penalties for pollution etc, on the other hand community and country benefits out of minimized environmental pollution, better consumable products and improved living conditions.
