“UNIDO RECP Project in Georgia organized an awareness raising meeting in Telavi city on October 9, 2014. Representatives of busyness sector, local governments, academia and NGOs acting in the Kakheti region attended the meeting. Project National Coordinator in Georgia Mr. Malkhaz Adeishvili introduced to the meeting participants EaP Green Program and its UNIDO RECP Demonstration Component. He provided the meeting participants with information on projects’ objective, activities, approaches and benefits of resource efficient and cleaner production. National experts presented to the audience first results of RECP assessments undertaken in participating companies. Participants of the meeting discussed the potential for involving the companies operating in the Kakheti region in the demonstration project”.
