Participatory Land Use Plan for Shenako community: an unique tool to ensure improved land resource access, tenure, equity in stewardship and sustainable land use practices

PLUP will be unique tool in the project area to:

i) encourage local communities to develop village land use plan;

ii) assist local communities to institutionalize the village regulations to achieve sustainable land management; and

iii) assist village leaders in monitoring the enforcement and implementation of the land use plan, to enable local communities to be a real manager of natural resources in their locality.
