On January 18, 2018, at 19:00, The Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus organized the opening of Natela Grigalashvili’s photo exhibition “The Way of the River” which took place at the Goethe Institute. The exhibition remained open until January 19, 2018.
The exhibition was financially supported by German Funds Zeit-Stiftung and Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S. with the Goethe Institute as acting partner of the project.
The photo exhibition mainly displayed the grave environmental reality and pollution problems prevalent in the Kochki River gorge (river Madatapa). The aim of the presentation was to use the example of the Kochki River to bring attention of the general public to the solemn reality of river pollution all over Georgia.
