Strategic Training Sessions Ignite Progress in PCB-Free Electricity Distribution Project
Within the framework of the project “Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB)-Free Electricity Distribution in Georgia” a training session took place on November 22-23 in Borjomi.
The gathering brought together prominent representatives from Energo-Pro Georgia and the Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE), alongside experts from the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (RECC).
The primary objective of this comprehensive training was to shed light on a spectrum of legislative changes crucial for the adept management of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the meeting delved into both practical and theoretical aspects of legislation and guidelines tailored explicitly for professionals within the energy sector. Moreover, the session featured the presentation of meticulously crafted legislative amendments designed for the effective management of PCBs. This collaborative forum provided an opportunity for facilitating the exchange of vital information and nurturing a nuanced understanding among key stakeholders in the energy sector.
