Mikheil Kurdadze is a dedicated Project Officer at the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus), specializing in climate policy, gendered climate change impact, and the nationalization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management and Policy from the Georgia Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), further enhancing his expertise in environmental and climate change initiatives.
With more than seven years of hands-on experience in project and communications management, Mikheil has demonstrated his ability to oversee complex, diverse projects funded by international organizations including the EU, UNDP, USAID, FAO, and GEF. His detailed knowledge of public awareness programs, and the use of IT web-based platforms for communications, and PR, have been instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of these projects.
With a focus on fostering successful internal and external relationships, Mikheil has a strong stakeholder management experience. His cultural sensitivity, tolerance, and adaptability enable him to understand and navigate varying local contexts and situations effectively.
Additionally, Mikheil is a valued member of The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR). His membership in this network reflects his deep commitment to addressing global environmental and climate change challenges, as well as his dedication to fostering a more sustainable future.
