Caucasus Regional Environmental Center (REC Caucasus) announces a call for applications to participate in the Program for Supporting Demonstration Projects on Fruit, Berry, and Nut Crops. The program is implemented within the framework of “Promoting Green Deal Readiness in Eastern Partnership (EaP) Countries” (PROGRESS).
The goal of the program is to promote sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices, support adaptation to climate change, and improve economic conditions through the implementation of demonstration projects in Georgia.The program aims to support at least three demonstration projects in Georgia by co-financing selected initiatives.
Selected demonstration projects must cover one or more stages of the primary production of fruit, berry, or nut crops (e.g., cultivation, harvesting, primary processing/storage) to ensure sustainable long-term benefits.
Participation in the current competition is open to projects focused on the almond value chain.Co-Financing Amount

Beneficiary Co-Financing Requirement
Applicants must contribute at least 45% of the total budget amount. This contribution can be financial and/or in-kind.
The call is open to individuals and legal entities who are interested in implementing projects aligned with climate-smart, sustainable, and green economy principles.
The competition will take place in four stages:
