The Global Environment Facility (GEF)-funded project “Transforming Policy and Investment through Improving Ecosystem Management and Restoration of Degraded Drylands of Dedoplistskaro Biosphere Reserve in Georgia to Generate Multiple Environmental and Socio-Economic Benefits” supports ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable land use in the Dedoplistskaro Biosphere Reserve.

5. Description of the contract
The subject of the contract is the Supply of Legume Seeds (Pea- 5000 kg) for Crop Rotation and Green Manure Initiatives.
6. Selection and Award Criteria
- Selection Criteria: Compliance with the technical specifications and requirements, and price.
- Award Criteria: Upon acceptance of the offered technical specification, the sole award criterion will be the price. Any tender exceeding the maximum budget for a specific lot will be rejected.
7. Eligibility
- Open Participation: Participation is open to all legal entities and Individual Entrepreneurs (registered in accordance with the Law of Georgia “On Entrepreneurs”), participating individually or as a consortium.
- Registration Requirement: Tenderers must be established or have a registered branch office in Georgia. Individual Entrepreneurs must be registered in the Entrepreneurial Registry of Georgia.
Exclusions: Participation of Non-entrepreneurial (Non-commercial) Legal Entities and natural persons (who are not registered as Individual Entrepreneurs) is not allowed.
8. Number of Tenders
Tenderers may submit only one tender.
